Squishy physics
A real mass-spring mesh, not a sprite with a wobble filter. He compresses on impact, overshoots on recovery, and squeezes through gaps smaller than he is.
Physics platformer · 2D side-scroller · in development
Out in it anyway. Gloopy has no fixed shape, four limbs and six tentacles it did not ask for, and an entire wilderness between here and anywhere.

Too squishy for the world. Out in it anyway.
You are reading a field log kept by nobody in particular. The whole design document is in here — physics, regions, creatures, bosses, roadmap.

Most platformers reward precise movement. This one makes movement the thing that goes wrong — and then makes going wrong the best part.
What is Gloopy
Nothing here is an ability you unlock. It is all available in the first minute. Getting good means learning to predict a body that does not want to be predicted.
A real mass-spring mesh, not a sprite with a wobble filter. He compresses on impact, overshoots on recovery, and squeezes through gaps smaller than he is.
Stick a tentacle to a branch, a rope or a passing goat. Swing on momentum, release on time. The one piece of control inside a system built to be chaotic.
Six regions of the Wobbly Wilds, from the forgiving green of Mossgut Valley to the ash and updraughts of Cinderpeak. Every surface is part of the physics.
Nothing out here fights you. It just happens to you — and the Surveyors pay for a reaction they have not logged before.
Fauna
Armour, momentum, and no reverse gear. You are simply in the corridor it booked.
Threat · high
Small, furious, and germinating out of pure spite. Reinforced hourly.
Threat · moderate
A standing route flown to the minute. Cross the line and the whole route reroutes onto you.
Threat · moderate
Gave up on eyes and was right to. In Glass Hollow, the specimen is the tourist.
Threat · high
Swells when you get close, then shoves everything nearby away. Useful, if you meant it.
Threat · low
Grabs at your tentacles and holds on longer than you would like.
Threat · moderate
Live wire coiled in the grass. There is no clever way through it.
Threat · high
Beat-up little windstorms that quietly rewrite your movement mid-jump.
Threat · moderate
Disturb one and it rolls across the level at speed. It is not chasing you. It is leaving.
Threat · moderate
Does nothing. Watches. Continues watching. Gloopy finds this deeply uncomfortable.
Threat · none
Where you play · six regions
Branches bend. Rocks wobble. Vines grab. Old walls shift when you touch them. The environment is not scenery sitting behind the physics — it is part of the physics.
01
First survey: Meadow Steps
Wet green everything. Soft landings, forgiving slopes, and the only place in the Wilds where the ground apologises. Where you learn that momentum is not your friend yet.
02
First survey: The High Waste / Updraft Canyon
High, dry, and lit like an interrogation. Thin air, hard wind, thermals that lift you further than intended, and platforms you cannot trust. Everything here is about going up.
03
First survey: unrecorded
Water that carbonates when disturbed. Every step releases a bubble, and every bubble lifts something that should have stayed down. Buoyancy is a hazard here, not a help.
04
First survey: The Junkyard, relocated
The volcano. Ash underfoot, updraughts of heat that carry you whether you asked or not, and slag heaps of human leftovers — crates, pipes, broken machines — that slide when loaded.
05
First survey: Glowdark Hollows
Caves of cooled silica under the hills. Glowing fungus is the only light source, and every surface reflects it, so you cannot tell a wall from an opening until you are inside one.
06
First survey: Terracotta Ruins
Old kilns and clay walls that shift when touched. Something built all this, fired it, and left. The Surveyors have no entry for who. They have a great many entries for what is still down there.
How to play
Everything is available in the first minute. Getting good means learning to predict a body that does not want to be predicted.
Step 01
A D apply force, not position. Letting go does not stop you — a soft body carries momentum badly, and that is the whole game.
Step 02
Hold Space to squash further before the launch. A deeper squash goes higher. Release early and you get a hop with an apology attached.
Step 03
Hold Shift and the mesh tenses. Less bounce, more grip, no style points. It is the only brake a blob gets, and you will need it on Cinderpeak.
How to earn
Every earning route runs on something you were going to do anyway — clear a zone, chase a time, poke something new. Staking changes reward rates. It never changes physics, and it never changes where you can reach.
A flat payout per region, weighted so the first clear is worth the most. Boss stages pay a multiple.
150–400 base
One fixed objective a day, set by the Surveyors. Clear it inside the window to claim the day's pool.
Resets 00:00 UTC
Seasonal leaderboards per zone. Because the physics are unpredictable, optimal routes stay contested.
Top 100 split
Log a creature reaction the Surveyors have not seen before. Paid once per reaction, ever, to whoever files it first.
First filing only
Stake to boost your earn rate and unlock Sandbox props. Boosts affect rates only — never physics, never level access.
Boosts, not power
Paid once, when a handler you referred completes their first zone clear. No tiers, no downstream, no pyramid.

Where the build is
Deformation, running, collisions, camera, test room. Shipped — it is what you play from the Play button.
Shipped
Mossgut Valley end to end, with grab, ink, first creatures, collectibles, audio and UI. Two stages and one boss are in.
In progress
The remaining regions, more creatures, environment puzzles, and the Undercrust nobody has charted.
Planned
Time Trial, Daily Wander, Sandbox, stats, achievements — then performance, accessibility, controller support and polish.

Questions
Yes. The Play Now button takes you to the wallet gate, and Demo Wallet gets you in instantly with no wallet installed. What you get is the physics prototype — two stages, one boss, a working coin economy. It is a prototype and it plays like one, which is the point.
No. The game is free and the Demo Wallet path requires nothing but a name. Connecting Phantom or Solflare only matters for the earning side — zone clears, bounties, leaderboard payouts. You can play the whole thing forever without touching a token.
No, and this is the one design rule we will not trade away. Staking and holding change reward rates. They do not change gravity, elasticity, jump height, damage, level access or leaderboard eligibility. A whale and a first-timer run the same simulation.
Because this is not a website, it is a Survey Console. The Surveyors could not file a specimen with no fixed shape, so they did the next most bureaucratic thing available and kept watching it. Type survey into the console for their side of it.
Not yet, honestly. The current build is keyboard-only — there are no touch controls in the simulation, so rather than ship a broken virtual stick we show a notice and ask you to come back on a desktop. Touch input is queued behind the vertical slice.
They are illustrative and labelled as such everywhere they appear. Supply, splits, vesting and the contract address are placeholders until launch. Treat any address you did not read on this page or the official X account as hostile.
